The ASU 3.5 meter thermistor is a temperature sensor (thermistor) used in Isotherm ASU cooling systems (Automatic Start Up) to measure the temperature in the cooler box or refrigerator. The thermistor has a 3.5 meter cable and connects to the control unit to regulate the compressor's operation depending on the temperature inside the cooling compartment. The ASU technology uses the thermistor to optimize energy use by running the compressor most efficiently when external charging, such as from solar panels or engine operation, is available.
