SmartSwitch DC4 is an advanced digital 4-channel DC switch designed to provide simple, safe, and smart control over 12V and 24V systems. It is perfect for applications in motorhomes, boats, cabins, off-grid installations, and other vehicles where you want reliable control of lighting, fans, refrigerators, pumps, or other DC equipment. All control is done via a single CANbus cable, providing a clean, simple, and professional installation without the need for relays or manual switches.
Each channel is individually programmable and can be configured as a standard on/off output, dimmer for e.g. lamps, or as a digital input. The channels support both momentary and latched modes. SmartSwitch DC4 has built-in safety features such as electronic current limiting per channel (2A, 3A, or 5A), thermal shutdown at 90 °C (automatic restart at 75 °C), and individual monitoring of current consumption up to 30A per channel. It is internally fused for a total load of max 15A.
The unit communicates via CANbus with VE.Can pinout (RJ45) and is fully compatible with Victron Cerbo GX – making it a fully integrated complement to Victron’s ecosystem. You get full control and monitoring directly via the Cerbo screen or via remote access, and can easily customize the functions according to your system. LED indicators per channel clearly show status, errors, or disconnections.
SmartSwitch DC4 is lightweight (170 g including connectors), easy to mount (DIN rail or surface), and made of flame-retardant material (UL94V-0). It meets applicable EMC and marine standards (EN61000-6-1, EN61000-6-3 A1, EN60945:2002). The product works with both 12V and 24V systems but does not support 48V.
