SmartSolar Pluggable Display is a dedicated plug-in LCD screen for monitoring and configuring Victron Energy's MPPT solar chargers, specially designed for the following models: SmartSolar MPPT 150/45 up to 250/100, SmartSolar MPPT 150/70 up to 250/100 VE.Can, and BlueSolar MPPT 150/70 up to 250/100 VE.Can. These solar chargers have a small housing on the front with the text "screen option," making it easy to connect the display.
For installation, you only need to remove the rubber cover that covers the screen port on the front of the charge controller and then plug in the display. The SmartSolar Pluggable Display can be used either as a permanent or temporary screen and provides you with real-time information about the system's performance as well as the ability to monitor and adjust the settings on the solar charger.
The screen shows a variety of data, including solar power, battery voltage, current, charging mode, and historical values. You can also follow the load output status and current (if the charger is equipped with a load output), as well as see accumulated historical values over the solar charger's lifetime. With 30 days of history, you can easily analyze the system's performance and energy production.
The LCD screen displays a clear numeric reading for voltage (V), current (A), power (W), energy consumption (kWh), and temperature (°C/°F). It also provides status indicators for charging stages and warnings, giving you full control over your solar system.
Installation is simple, with the screen connecting directly to the solar charger via a 9-pin RS232 connector. The SmartSolar Pluggable Display is lightweight and compact, measuring 116 mm x 50 mm x 25 mm and weighing only 66 g. It is robust and reliable, with a limited five-year warranty covering any material and manufacturing defects.
