NAC-2 Autopilot Core Pack is a complete autopilot package that provides reliable and precise steering for boats up to 10 meters. The heart of the system is the NAC-2 autopilot computer, which controls the hydraulic steering pump or mechanical drive unit and communicates with other key components such as heading sensors and rudder position sensors. The NAC-2 is designed to work with low-current pumps, mechanical drive units, and electromagnetic valves with a continuous current capacity of 8 amperes (max. 16 amperes). This makes the package perfect for smaller vessels needing reliable and accurate autopilot control.
With B&G Reflex sailing algorithms, you can trust the autopilot to navigate your boat precisely in various weather and water conditions. The NAC-2 includes steering algorithms optimized for sailing and ensures the boat follows an exact course under all circumstances. This autopilot computer fits smaller boats up to 10 meters long and is capable of driving both hydraulic and mechanical drive units as well as electromagnetic valves.
The package also includes the advanced Precision-9 compass, which provides accurate heading and turn rate information through solid-state sensor technology. The compass measures motion on nine axes, delivering precise heading data and a turn rate measurement with an accuracy of ±2° after calibration. It is designed for easy installation on various surfaces onboard and is waterproof according to IPX7 standard, making it a reliable choice for all conditions.
For additional precision and feedback in steering, the RF25 rudder position sensor is also included. This sensor is designed to provide exact feedback on the rudder angle with a ±120-degree measurement and an accuracy of ±0.5 degrees. The RF25 has a micro-C connection for easy integration into your existing system and comes with a 5.5-meter cable for quick and smooth installation.
The package also offers easy installation thanks to plug-and-play functionality and NMEA 2000® connectivity, allowing it to integrate with other onboard systems. With Virtual rudder position sensor technology, which eliminates the need for a physical rudder position sensor on boats with outboard motors or INU drives, installation is further simplified.
