BEP Vertical Battery Distribution Cluster for Single Engine is an efficient and smart solution for managing charging and power distribution in boats with one engine and two battery banks. This unit is designed to replace traditional battery selector switches and offers fully automated battery management without the need for extra cables or manual switching between batteries.
Installation is simple and smooth – just remove the existing battery selector switch and connect the existing cables to the BEP 716 cluster, making the upgrade to automated and efficient battery management. By using Digital Voltage Sensing Relay (DVSR 140A), intelligent charging distribution is ensured that prioritizes the starter battery. When its voltage reaches a sufficient level, the consumption battery is automatically connected to the charging circuit. When the engine is turned off and the voltage drops, the battery banks are isolated again to prevent the starter battery from being drained by consumption loads.
The system is ideal for boats with an outboard motor and two battery banks, as well as inboard motors with a generator and two battery banks. By replacing traditional battery isolator systems, this cluster improves battery management by eliminating the risk of a discharged starter battery and ensuring that both battery banks are optimally charged.
