BEP Square Battery Distribution Cluster for Single Engine is an efficient and smart solution for managing charging and power distribution in boats with one engine and two battery banks. By replacing traditional battery selector switches with automatic battery management, this system eliminates the risk of a discharged starting battery and simplifies the handling of the electrical system onboard.
The square design makes it ideal for compact installations, where a space-saving and easy-to-mount solution is needed. Installation is simple because the unit can directly replace an existing battery selector switch without requiring extra cables. This makes the upgrade smooth and efficient.
The system is designed to work with an outboard motor or an inboard motor with a generator and two battery banks. The integrated Digital Voltage Sensing Relay (DVSR 140A) ensures that charging occurs automatically. When the engine is running, the starting battery is prioritized, and when its voltage is sufficiently high, the consumption battery is automatically connected to the charging circuit via the DVSR. When the engine is turned off, the battery banks are isolated again, preventing the consumption loads from draining the starting battery.
The system offers safe and intelligent battery management where the starting battery is always kept charged, providing extra security out on the water. With its compact square design, it is easy to mount in tight spaces, making it especially suitable for modern boat installations.
