BEP Digital Voltage Sensing Relay (DVSR) 12/24V is an intelligent and cost-effective solution for automatic charging of a second battery bank, without compromising the starting battery's charging. By monitoring the voltage of the primary battery bank, the relay is automatically activated to charge the secondary battery bank when the voltage is sufficiently high. When charging stops and the voltage drops, the DVSR automatically isolates the batteries, preventing the starting battery from being discharged by consumption loads.
The digital technology in the DVSR offers superior reliability, extremely low power consumption, and automatic switching between 12V and 24V. The relay is ignition protected, making it safe to install in marine and vehicle environments where safety is critical.
The simple 3-wire installation leaves the alternator wiring intact and provides an efficient charging solution without voltage drop, unlike traditional diode isolators. For extra functionality, remote control can be used by connecting the DVSR to an ignition source, enabling the same functionality as a single-sensing VSR and zero power consumption in standby mode when using storage mode.
