BEP Battery Switch Dual Operation Voltage Sensitive is an intelligent battery separation solution that automatically monitors and manages charging between two independent battery banks. By sensing the voltage on the connected battery banks, it optimizes the charging distribution and ensures that both batteries are charged efficiently when a charging source, such as an engine alternator or battery charger, is active.
This battery switch allows automatic isolation or parallel connection of battery banks depending on the charging status, helping to protect the starter battery while keeping the service battery charged. Additionally, the unit offers a remote-controlled emergency parallel function, enabling quick linking of batteries when extra power is needed, for example during starting problems. The function is activated via a momentary button on the dashboard and lasts for 10 minutes. If the voltage is sufficiently high after this time, the connection remains active; otherwise, it is automatically disconnected.
Made for long life in marine environments, the unit is constructed with tinned copper conductors, stainless steel nuts, and heat-resistant, fiber-reinforced plastic components. It is spark-proof, can be surface mounted or recessed, and has a manual override function for extra safety and control.
