The 60A MP circuit breaker is a resettable circuit breaker rated at 60 amperes, developed for demanding environments where moisture resistance, reliability, and easy installation are crucial. It belongs to the MP 17 series, a robust series with a thermoplastic enclosure that provides effective protection against dust and water, making it ideal for use in marine environments, vehicles, motorhomes, agricultural machinery, and lifting platforms.
The breaker is designed for both surface and panel mounting and is available in several mounting options such as Side by Side, Surface, and Easy Access 90°. The latter allows easy access when installing multiple breakers in a row, for example via busbars, facilitating both installation and maintenance. The product is intended as a drop-in replacement for popular models from manufacturers like Blue Sea, Bussmann, and Sensata Klixon, making it easy to integrate into existing electrical systems.
The breaker is approved according to SAE and ABYC standards and is also ignition protected, making it safe to use in gasoline-powered vehicles and boats. It is equipped with stainless steel 1/4” or 3/8” bolts and sems nuts for reliable electrical connections. A visible indicator clearly shows when the breaker has tripped, simplifying troubleshooting.
The MP-175 series handles voltages up to 48V DC for breakers between 25–150A, up to 30V DC for 175–200A, and up to 14V DC for 225–300A. The breaker has undergone extensive testing and meets requirements for vibration (8g), shock resistance (25g), corrosion resistance (96 hours salt spray), and moisture resistance (240 hours at 95% humidity). The product is made in the USA and maintains a high and consistent quality level to meet the needs of professional users.
