The AC current sensor is a simple and convenient device used to measure AC current, power (VA), and calculate how much energy (kWh) is produced by a solar inverter. It can be connected to the AC input or AC output on a Multi or Quattro inverter/charger, making it perfect for monitoring solar production and energy usage.

The current sensor is easily connected to the AUX or temperature sensor input on a Multi or Quattro. When connected, the measurements are displayed on a GX device and sent to the VRM portal, where you can monitor energy production remotely. This gives you a clear picture of how much solar energy your system generates and uses.

The sensor can measure power from 1.5 kW up to 7 kW and handles a maximum current of 30.5 A. You can use up to 9 sensors in the same system if you need to monitor multiple units simultaneously. Additionally, it is IP54 rated, meaning it is durable and protected against dust and water splashes, making it suitable for various environments.

This current sensor is a practical tool for monitoring and optimizing solar production in your Victron system, with easy access to data both locally and via the internet.
