The V20S VHF marine radio is a reliable and versatile communication solution that offers safety and ease of use for boats of all sizes. This class D DSC-approved VHF radio is equipped with a built-in GPS receiver, allowing you to send your boat's position in an emergency, even if the rest of the boat's electronics are powerless. The radio's display is clear and easy to read, even in bright daylight, thanks to the black-on-white high-contrast screen. For night use, there is an inverted white-on-black mode that improves visibility without glare. With an intuitive control knob, you can easily scroll between channels, and large buttons provide quick access to important functions. A dedicated button for channel 16, both on the radio and the handheld microphone, offers quick and easy access to the emergency channel when needed. The radio comes with a balance ring for easy mounting, either on a tabletop, ceiling, or partition, and can also be mounted low-profile to suit an elegant and discreet installation.
With the class D DSC function, it is easy to stay in contact with other boat owners. In an emergency, you can press the dedicated emergency transmission button, which immediately sends your boat position to all within VHF range. This, together with a regular emergency call via radio, makes it easier for other boats with DSC-capable radios to understand your situation and assist if needed.
The V20S is internationally designed and supports all international VHF channels, making it perfect for boats navigating various waters. With a three-channel monitoring function, you can scan between the current channel, emergency channel 16, and another user-configurable priority channel, giving you continuous access to important channels. The radio also has the ability to prioritize emergency channels during scanning, minimizing the risk of missing important emergency calls or safety messages.
The V20S offers NMEA 2000® connectivity for easy integration with your marine systems, making installation and use smooth and hassle-free.
