B&G V100 VHF System is an advanced marine radio that provides you with complete safety and flexibility at sea. With the ability to connect up to 8 handsets – 4 wired and 4 wireless – and 4 external speakers, the V100 series ensures that you are always connected no matter where you are on board. Whether you need to communicate with the crew or send distress calls, the V100 series gives you access to reliable and powerful VHF communication.
For those who want extra security, the V100-B is equipped with a Class B AIS transponder and a built-in GPS receiver. This allows other boats to see your position in real time, which is especially important in crowded harbors and waterways. The AIS transponder also enables monitoring of other AIS-equipped boats and helps you avoid collisions by displaying AIS targets on the radio’s built-in screen or through a compatible chartplotter or radar. The V100-B also comes with GPS-500 for improved GPS performance and AIS functionality.
The system is highly expandable and can be configured to suit your needs on board. With the included wired handset and speaker, you can experience clear and crisp communication right from the start. You can also add up to 4 wireless H60 handsets and an additional 3 wired H100 handsets. This makes the V100 system a full-fledged intercom solution on board, enabling seamless communication between different parts of the boat.
The wireless handsets have large, easy-to-read screens that are visible in all lighting conditions and come with inductive charging, meaning they can be easily charged without exposed contacts. Each handset gives you full access to all important functions such as channel scanning, alphanumeric keypad, favorites, and 60 seconds of audio replay, making it easy to go back and listen to important messages.
The V100 series also supports NMEA 0183® and NMEA 2000® connections, making it easy to integrate with other systems on board. There is also the possibility to track up to 5 friends using their VHF-MMSI numbers via the Track Buddy function. External speakers can be configured with volume offset and backlight settings can be synchronized with other devices on board for a smooth and coordinated user experience.
