Battery Alarm GX Retail is a compact and affordable alarm panel that monitors your battery bank and warns of critical events. It is equipped with both audible and visual alarms, as well as a potential-free contact with both normally open and normally closed contacts, making it easy to connect to other systems. The alarm thresholds and hysteresis of the battery alarm can be programmed using DIP switches, providing flexibility for different settings depending on voltage level and desired sensitivity.
The alarm can be configured to monitor both 12V and 24V battery systems, and the user can adjust the Ulow and Uhigh alarm thresholds to optimize battery monitoring. For example, the Ulow alarm can be adjusted between 9.5V and 11.5V depending on needs, and the Uhigh alarm can be adjusted up to 16.5V.
The hysteresis of the battery alarm is also programmable. For 12V systems, hysteresis can vary from 1V to 2.5V, and for 24V systems, it can be adjusted from 2V to 5V. This ensures that the system does not trigger alarms during small voltage fluctuations, improving accuracy and reliability.
