Skylla-TG 24/50 GMDSS 120-240V is a robust and reliable battery charger, designed to meet the stringent requirements of the global maritime distress and safety system (GMDSS). It supports a wide input voltage range of 120-240V AC, making it flexible and suitable for use in global marine applications. Thanks to the universal input, the charger can handle multiple different mains voltages, making it ideal for installations worldwide. This allows the Skylla-TG 24/50 GMDSS to handle varying mains voltages, ensuring reliable operation regardless of the ship's location.
With a charging current of 50A and one output, the charger offers stable and precise charging for 24V batteries. It uses an advanced microprocessor-controlled charging regulator with three-stage charging (IUoUo characteristic), ensuring an optimized and fast charging process. This prevents overcharging and extends battery life, which is critical for systems that must operate in emergencies.
Skylla-TG 24/50 GMDSS includes a temperature sensor for temperature-compensated charging, protecting the battery from overheating and drying out. Additionally, the charger is equipped with a voltage sensor that compensates for voltage drops in the cables, ensuring that the battery always receives the correct charging voltage.
This GMDSS-certified charger is developed to support critical marine safety systems such as emergency radio, navigation systems, and other vital communication devices onboard.
