MRBF Terminal Fuse is a reliable and high-performance fuse designed to protect main circuits in large battery banks. It meets ABYC requirements for DC main protection and has a high breaking capacity, making it ideal for marine, vehicle electrical, and industrial systems where safety and stability are crucial.
This fuse must be mounted with Terminal Fuse Blocks PN 5191 or PN 2151, as it should not be mounted directly on the battery terminal. It is ignition protected, meaning it is safe to install in gasoline-powered boats and other environments with potentially explosive gases.
For easy and quick diagnostics, the fuse has a transparent inspection window that allows direct viewing to see if it has blown. It is also color-coded by amperage for quick identification and easy handling.
It withstands a maximum voltage of 58V DC and has an impressive breaking capacity of up to 10,000A at 14V DC, making it very reliable even under high current faults.
