The breaker has a "Trip Free" design, which means it cannot be held on during a fault current, ensuring extra safety. It is waterproof and meets SAE J1171 ignition protection standards, making it safe for use in gasoline-powered boats and other potentially explosive environments. It is also weather-resistant, making it durable under various outdoor conditions.
It handles 70A continuous current and can interrupt up to 3000A at 48V DC, making it safe to use at high currents and motor starts. M6 terminal studs accept 1/4" ring terminals, providing strong and stable connections. With a terminal stud torque of 50 in-lb (5.65 Nm), you get a secure and durable connection.
The 285-Series 70A Circuit Breaker is made of heat-resistant thermoplastic material, making it reliable and durable at both low and high temperatures (from -40°C to 85°C). It offers large clearance around the terminals, allowing it to handle heavy cables and large wire connections.
