SmartSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr is a solar charger that efficiently collects energy from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries. With MPPT technology (Maximum Power Point Tracking), SmartSolar maximizes energy collection and intelligently transfers it to fully charge the battery in the shortest possible time. It also maintains battery health and extends its lifespan. This model supports up to 250V input voltage and delivers a charging current of 70A, making it ideal for larger systems with more solar panels and higher energy demands. It is also compatible with 12V, 24V, 36V, or 48V systems. The "Tr" in the model name indicates that the regulator uses screw terminals for connection, providing a reliable and secure cable connection. This is especially useful for installations requiring stable and long-lasting connections.
With Bluetooth functionality, you can remotely monitor and control the charger's various functions by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the internet with a Gx device, Victron Remote Management (VRM) gives you access to the MPPT full power anytime and anywhere. Both VictronConnect and VRM are free of charge. For remote installations, you can monitor your MPPT by connecting GlobalLink 520, even without an internet connection nearby.
The SmartSolar charge controller can also charge deeply discharged batteries and operates with a battery voltage as low as 0 V, provided the cells have not been permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
