Lowrance HALO20+ 20-inch Pulse Compression Radar is an advanced radar that gives you the ability to see your surroundings in almost real-time, improving your navigation and increasing safety on the water. With an industry-leading rotation speed of 60 revolutions per minute at close range, the HALO20+ can help you avoid collisions effectively, regardless of conditions. This radar provides coverage both at short and long range, up to 36 nautical miles, making it ideal for smaller motorboats and sailboats. The compact 20-inch dome antenna ensures you always have a clear and accurate picture of both nearby and distant objects.
HALO20+ uses advanced pulse compression technology that provides sharper beams and clearer detection over all distances. With the dual range feature, you can monitor two separate areas simultaneously, for example weather conditions at longer distances and potential collision risks nearby. This makes it easier to manage multiple threats at once and gives you the information you need to make safe decisions.
With a sweep speed of 360 degrees per second and coverage up to 1.5 nautical miles at close range, the HALO20+ provides a fast and clear picture of your surroundings. VelocityTrack™ Doppler technology helps identify if objects are moving toward or away from your boat by color-coding potential hazards. This increases your awareness and significantly reduces the risk of collisions. HALO20+ can automatically handle multiple targets simultaneously and continuously monitors your entire area, so you don’t have to make manual adjustments.
HALO20+ is always ready when you are. Thanks to InstantOn™ technology, the radar starts in just a few seconds from standby mode, meaning you get immediate access to a current picture of your surroundings without having to wait for the long startup time typical of traditional pulse radars. This makes HALO20+ a reliable companion whether you navigate in tight waters or challenging visibility conditions.
The radar’s user-friendliness is enhanced by customizable radar modes, including Harbour, Offshore, Weather, and Bird. These modes fine-tune the advanced signal processing and ensure that targets are always clearly visible, even under difficult conditions. HALO20+ also supports MARPA target tracking and can track up to 10 targets (20 with dual range), giving you full control over your surroundings and minimizing the risk of unforeseen hazards.
