B&G HALO20+ 36 NM 20-inch radar is an advanced and compact radar designed to give you an almost real-time view of your surroundings, helping you avoid collisions and improve your navigation. With a unique capacity of 60 rotations per minute at close range, you can identify hazards lightning fast. Additionally, HALO20+ provides coverage at both short and long range simultaneously, up to 36 nautical miles, making it ideal for medium to large sailboats.
HALO20+ comes with a compact 20-inch dome antenna that enables precise detection at short, medium, and long distances. The radar also offers the ability to monitor two areas simultaneously in dual range mode, meaning you can keep an eye on weather further away while monitoring potential collision risks near your boat. The advanced pulse compression technology ensures you get a clear picture across the entire range, and the sharper beam makes it easier to distinguish small or distant objects.
When it comes to avoiding collisions, HALO20+ offers the best view thanks to its ability to sweep 360 degrees every second. The innovative technology enables 60 rotations per minute at distances up to 1.5 nautical miles, providing super-fast updates that let you see almost in real time and react quickly to any hazards or fast targets nearby.
The built-in VelocityTrack™ Doppler technology provides immediate visual feedback on whether targets are approaching or moving away from you. With color-coded alerts for approaching objects, your situational awareness increases and the risk of collision decreases. There is no limit to how many targets can be displayed on the screen simultaneously, and the radar automatically monitors all objects in your area, eliminating the need for manual target acquisition.
HALO20+ is always ready to use when you need it. It starts up in seconds from standby mode, so you always have a clear and current picture of your surroundings, regardless of whether the radar has been off. This eliminates the long startup times often associated with traditional pulse radars.

These modes fine-tune the advanced signal processing so that targets are clearly visible even under difficult weather and sea conditions.
