Venus GX is the communication hub for your energy system. With Venus GX, you can easily monitor and control all components in your system, such as inverters, solar chargers, and batteries, ensuring they operate in harmony. You can access all data in real time and change settings via your smartphone or computer through Victron's free remote management portal, Victron Remote Management (VRM). Venus GX provides a direct overview of the battery's charge status, current energy consumption, solar energy production, as well as power supply from the grid or generator. The VRM portal offers full control over all system components connected to Venus GX, and you can log in and make adjustments from anywhere in the world.
Venus GX can also be programmed to automatically start a generator at low battery voltage, high load, or when battery charging is needed. Additionally, it can be customized to avoid unintentional disturbances during quiet periods, such as in the middle of the night. Through the remote console, you get access to real-time data and settings on Venus GX, no matter where you are.
For energy storage systems, Venus GX is an important component that manages energy to keep batteries fully charged, start during power outages, and send surplus energy from solar panels to self-consumption, saving money. It also enables monitoring of tank levels and communication with equipment from other manufacturers. Venus GX can connect to a large number of Victron products such as Multis, Quattros, MPPT solar chargers, and battery monitors like the BMV series. It also supports connection of external tank and temperature sensors.
Venus GX can be connected to the internet via Ethernet or WiFi (with an external dongle) and send all data to the VRM portal for remote monitoring. If no internet connection is available, data is stored internally for up to 48 hours. The device is also equipped with multiple communication ports, including VE.Direct, VE.Can, VE.Bus, and USB.
Venus GX offers advanced features such as data logging, automatic software updates, and a Modbus-TCP interface for integration with third-party systems. It is perfect for all types of energy storage and monitoring systems, both stationary and mobile.
