VE.Can resistive tank sender adapter enables connecting a standard resistive tank level sender to the Color Control GX, providing accurate and reliable monitoring of various tank levels. The adapter is compatible with both the European standard 0-180 Ohm and the American standard 240-30 Ohm, and is very precise. This makes it ideal for use with tanks containing fuel, fresh water, wastewater, oil, and black water (sewage).
It supports up to 16 tanks of the same type in a VE.Can network, and to manage multiple tanks you can use several tank senders in the same network. Each tank sender can be easily configured using two small rotary switches that adjust the unique tank numbering.
The adapter has a robust ABS construction, is IP67 rated for protection against dust and water, and connects easily to the network via RJ45 cables, allowing smooth daisy-chaining between devices. For the network to function correctly, VE.Can terminators must be placed at both ends of the network, and these are included when you purchase a Color Control GX.
The VE.Can resistive tank sender adapter is powered from the VE.Can network and has a low power consumption of under 50mA. If you use a Skylla-i, Lynx Ion + Shunt, Lynx Shunt VE.Can, or a BlueSolar MPPT VE.Can product, power is supplied to the network by one of these devices. If none of these products are installed, you must add a VE.Can Power Cable to power the network.
