The VE.Bus to BMS 12-200 control cable is designed to enable the use of the charging control function of the BMS 12/200 together with VE.Bus BMS when using an AC generator. The cable allows the BMS 12/200 to limit the charging current from the generator to a safe level and stop the charging process in case of an alarm. This happens by the Li-ion battery communicating with the VE.Bus BMS, which in turn forwards the information to the BMS 12/200.
It is important to remember that the Li-ion battery and the loads powered by it must not be connected to ground, to avoid potential issues. In this configuration, the DC-load output on the BMS 12/200 will also not be active. This cable is a necessary accessory to ensure safe and efficient charging control when an AC generator is used in systems with VE.Bus BMS and BMS 12/200.
