NAC-3 Autopilot Core Pack is a powerful autopilot package designed for boats over 10 meters in length. This package contains everything you need to create a reliable and efficient autopilot system for larger boats, including the NAC-3 autopilot computer, which acts as the system's brain. The NAC-3 is designed to drive high-power pumps, mechanical drive units, and electromagnetic valves, with a continuous capacity of 30 amperes (max 50 amperes), making it ideal for larger vessels with higher power requirements.
The NAC-3 autopilot computer is equipped with B&G Reflex sailing algorithms, allowing the autopilot to handle various weather and sea conditions with precision. It communicates with heading sensors and rudder angle sensors, and with plug-and-play installation, it can easily be integrated into your existing system. Supporting both NMEA 2000® and NMEA 0183®, the NAC-3 offers broad compatibility with other navigation systems and displays onboard.
The package also includes the reliable Precision-9 compass, which uses solid-state sensor technology to provide accurate heading and turn rate data. The compass is designed for easy installation on all types of boats and offers a heading accuracy of ±2° after calibration. The Precision-9 is waterproof according to the IPX7 standard and connects via the NMEA 2000® network, making installation quick and easy.
The package also includes the RF25 rudder angle sensor, which provides precise feedback on the rudder angle with an accuracy of ±0.5 degrees and a +/- 120 degrees measurement range. With a micro-C connection and an included 5.5-meter cable, installation of the rudder angle sensor is simple and smooth.
To optimize system functionality, the NAC-3 Autopilot Core Pack offers easy installation and configuration, with automatic setup and compass calibration ensuring the system operates with the highest precision. You can easily control the system via a B&G Triton² display or a network-connected MFD.
