Lowrance LINK-9 VHF radio is a powerful, fixed-mounted DSC VHF transponder in class D that offers reliable communication and safety anywhere on the water. It is equipped with a built-in GPS antenna and support for external GPS connection via SMA connector, as well as NMEA 2000® and NMEA 0183 connections that make it easy to integrate with other marine systems. With the internal dual-channel AIS receiver, you can monitor AIS-equipped vessels nearby and see their positions both on the radio's screen and via compatible chart plotters or radar.
Link-9 also has a backlit, remotely mountable hand microphone with six buttons that can be connected both at the front and rear of the radio, providing great installation flexibility. With a transmission power of 25 W/1 W and an extra large, high-resolution LCD display, Link-9 is designed to deliver clear and powerful communication in all conditions.
Another important feature is the Man Overboard function (MOB), which is easily activated by holding down the NAV/MOB button. This sets a waypoint at your current location and activates MOB mode, showing the distance and direction to the person who has fallen overboard. For extra security, you can use the Track Your Buddy™ function, which allows tracking other boats with registered MMSI numbers.
The radio also has an integrated PA/megaphone with a replay function for clear communication onboard, as well as access to weather channels and user-programmable MMSI names for customized safety monitoring. The robust design is completely waterproof, making it ideal for demanding marine environments.
