You can immediately see if your bait is working or if you need to make adjustments to get the fish to bite, which is much harder to determine with traditional sonar.
ActiveTarget™ 2 offers several different views to maximize your fishing experience. With forward view, you can see structures and fish in front of the boat and aim your cast more precisely. Down view lets you see what is directly under the boat with high detail, and with Scout view you get a wide live overview in front of the boat, perfect for quickly finding bait balls and large fish schools. For even more control, you can use HDS® Pro to display multiple ActiveTarget™ 2 views simultaneously, giving you the ability to monitor several views like forward, down, and scout at the same time.
The system also offers new features such as 180 view, where you can see a full 180 degrees from front to back in a single image, providing unbeatable coverage. Scout Wide view gives you double coverage around the boat with live sonar, and Scout + Forward view allows you to see both scout and forward views simultaneously without interference. These features are especially effective for tracking bait and fish in front of the boat with maximum precision.
ActiveTarget™ 2 is compatible with HDS PRO, HDS LIVE, HDS Carbon, and Elite FS displays, and there is also the option to add a second ActiveTarget™ 2 transducer for even wider coverage and more views. The robust module and transducer are designed for easy installation, and the package includes both module and transducer to ensure you get full benefit from the system immediately.
