Victron Energy LiFePO4 Battery 25.6V/300Ah NG is part of the advanced NG series (Next Generation), which builds on the successful Lithium Smart series with several improvements that meet future energy storage requirements. The NG series includes new features that enable detailed reading of cell voltages and temperatures as well as the ability to build battery banks with a maximum capacity of up to 385 kWh. The robust construction makes it especially suitable for environments where dust and water may be a concern. Installation is simple and secure thanks to included brackets and straps.
Victron Energy's Lithium-NG batteries are lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP) with a nominal voltage of 25.6 V and a capacity of 300 Ah. The batteries can be connected in series, parallel, or combined in series/parallel to create system voltages of 12, 24, or 48 V. Up to 50 batteries can be connected in a system, enabling energy storage of up to 384 kWh in a 48 V system.
The battery is equipped with a built-in shunt that transmits data such as voltage, current, and temperature to a battery management system (BMS). The BMS is a mandatory component that automatically manages all battery parameters, including system voltage and the number of batteries. Through the VictronConnect app, a GX device, or the VRM portal, the battery can be monitored and controlled in real time. The Bluetooth function makes it easy to monitor cell voltages, temperatures, and warning indicators. The battery's firmware is automatically updated by the BMS.
The battery has a very low self-discharge rate of less than 2% per month, making it extremely energy efficient. It has a high efficiency of 92% and a low capacity loss of less than 1% per 100 cycles at 100% DoD (Depth of Discharge).
