Victron Energy LiFePO4 Battery 25.6V/100Ah NG is part of the modern NG series (Next Generation), which further develops the successful Lithium Smart series with several significant improvements. Victron Energy's Lithium-NG batteries are lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP) with a nominal voltage of 25.6 V and a capacity of 100 Ah. The batteries can be connected in series, parallel, or combined in series/parallel to create system voltages of 12, 24, or 48 V. A system can contain up to 50 batteries, enabling energy storage of up to 384 kWh in a 48 V system.
The battery is equipped with a built-in shunt that transfers data such as voltage, current, and temperature to a battery management system (BMS). The BMS is a mandatory component that automatically manages all battery parameters, including system voltage and number of batteries. With the VictronConnect app, a GX device, or the VRM portal, the battery can be monitored and controlled easily and smoothly. The Bluetooth function enables real-time monitoring of cell voltages, temperatures, and warning indicators. The battery's firmware is automatically updated by the BMS.
The improved self-discharge rate of less than 2% per month makes this battery extremely energy efficient. It has a high efficiency of 92% and a low capacity loss of less than 1% per 100 cycles at 100% DoD (Depth of Discharge). With a lifespan of up to 5000 cycles at 50% DoD, the battery is a long-term and sustainable investment.
The operating temperature ranges from -20 °C to +50 °C during discharge and from +5 °C to +50 °C during charging. The storage temperature is between -45 °C and +70 °C, making the battery suitable for a variety of environments and conditions.
