Skylla-TG 24/100(1+1) GL 120-240V is a powerful and versatile battery charger designed to withstand the toughest environments, supporting a wide input voltage range (120-240V AC). This makes it flexible and especially suitable for global use, particularly in demanding industrial and marine environments where power conditions can vary. Thanks to the universal input, the charger can handle multiple different mains voltages, making it ideal for installations worldwide. With its GL approval (Germanischer Lloyd), it meets strict safety and performance standards, making it a first choice for ships and offshore use.
The charger is equipped with two separate outputs: the first output can deliver full rated current of 100A to the main battery bank, while the second output of 4A is specially designed for maintenance charging of starter batteries. This ensures that both consumption and starter batteries are always charged safely and efficiently.
With a microprocessor-controlled charging regulator, the Skylla-TG 24/100(1+1) GL uses a three-stage IUoUo charging characteristic that optimizes the charging process for all battery types, including sealed maintenance-free batteries. The charger automatically adjusts the charging to prevent overcharging, which extends battery life and ensures high performance.
To further protect the batteries, a temperature sensor is included that adjusts the charging voltage based on the battery temperature, which is crucial to prevent overheating and drying out, especially in sealed batteries. Additionally, the charger is equipped with a voltage sensor to compensate for voltage drops in the battery cables, ensuring that the batteries receive the correct charging voltage.
