Quattro-II 24/5000/120-50/50 230V is a powerful and flexible combined inverter and charger that offers a range of advanced features for smooth energy management. It can handle two AC inputs, such as shore power and generator, and automatically connects to the active energy source. This makes Quattro-II ideal for applications where a stable and reliable power supply is necessary.
The main output offers an uninterruptible function which means that if the power is cut, Quattro-II automatically takes over and ensures that connected devices continue to operate without interruption. This happens so quickly – within 20 milliseconds – that even sensitive electronic equipment like computers remain unaffected. The second output is only active when AC is available, making it perfect for devices that should not drain the battery, such as air conditioning or water heaters.
With PowerAssist technology, Quattro-II avoids overload on a limited AC source like a generator or shore power. To prevent overload, the unit reduces battery charging if needed, and if the load exceeds the capacity of the primary power source, it boosts the output current with energy from the battery. When the need for high power decreases, battery charging resumes with surplus current. This allows Quattro-II to handle both short and long-lasting peaks in power consumption efficiently.
For those with greater power needs, Quattro-II can be operated in parallel with up to six units to achieve higher output power, and three-phase operation is also possible for demanding applications. In a system with six Quattro-II units, a maximum output power of 25 kW (30 kVA) can be achieved with a total current capacity of 420 A. This makes the unit excellently suited for large energy systems where higher capacity and flexibility are needed.
Quattro-II is also compatible with solar energy and other alternative energy sources. It can be used both grid-connected and off-grid, making it an ideal solution for both residential and commercial and industrial applications. Through integration with solar power systems or other energy sources, Quattro-II can secure a continuous AC power supply even during grid failures, providing safety and security in critical situations.
In addition to its versatility, Quattro-II offers high efficiency, with a continuous output power of 5000 VA and a peak power of up to 9000 W. The unit's efficiency is an impressive 96%, and it has minimal energy consumption in standby mode. With no load, the unit only draws 18 W, which can be reduced to 2 W in search mode. This makes Quattro-II a sustainable choice even for low-energy environments.
For easy system monitoring and remote control, Quattro-II can be connected to the internet via Cerbo GX or other GX products and configured with VEConfigure software. The ability to monitor and control the system remotely makes it easy to manage system settings and check operational data, contributing to optimal operation.
With its robust steel construction and IP21 rating, Quattro-II is built to withstand tough conditions, with a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +65 °C. It also tolerates high humidity up to 95% without condensation.
