Quattro 24/3000/70-50/50 230V from Victron Energy is an advanced inverter and battery charger that offers high performance and flexibility. What distinguishes Quattro from MultiPlus is its dual AC inputs, which allow connection of two separate power sources, such as both shore power and generator. The unit automatically switches between these power sources depending on availability, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply, even when one of the power sources fails.
This 24V unit delivers 3000 VA continuous power and has a charging capacity of 70 A. It is compatible with all types of batteries and has a peak power of 6000W.
With PowerAssist technology, Quattro can boost the capacity from shore power or generator by supplying extra power from the battery when needed. This is especially useful during short power consumption peaks, while also protecting the power sources from overload. Thanks to its parallel and three-phase capability, multiple units can be combined to increase the system's total output power, making it ideal for larger and more demanding installations.
Another important feature is Quattro's uninterrupted power supply (UPS function). In the event of a power outage or if the generator is disconnected, Quattro automatically takes over the power supply to the connected devices in less than 20 milliseconds, ensuring that sensitive electronics, such as computers, continue to operate without interruption.
To optimize energy consumption at low load, Quattro offers a search mode, where power consumption is significantly reduced when the unit is not actively loaded. This is especially important for off-grid systems where every saved kilowatt-hour counts.
With a programmable relay as standard, Quattro can be integrated into advanced systems to activate alarms or other functions, providing additional customization options for various applications.
Remote monitoring and control is convenient via VE.Bus and can be managed with a GX device such as Cerbo GX. Through the VRM app, you can monitor and control the system remotely, adjust settings, and even start a backup generator, no matter where you are.
