BEP Pro Installer Insulated Studs offer a safe and versatile solution for power management in both marine and vehicle applications. These insulated studs come in single and double versions, with 8 mm (5/16") and 10 mm (3/8") variants to meet different installation needs. This model, IST-10MM-1S-B, is a single stud with a 10 mm threaded connection, providing a stable and reliable power distribution point.
The studs are made of stainless steel, which together with inserted metric threads ensures long durability and resistance in marine environments. The base consists of high-temperature resistant, fiber-reinforced plastic that offers both strength and chemical resistance. Additionally, each stud comes with a clear polycarbonate cap, which can easily "snap-out" to provide extra cable access when needed, ensuring a safe and organized installation. The cap also includes space for labels to keep connections clearly marked and easy to overview.
For models with double studs, combining both 10 mm and 8 mm connections, there is a practical "snap-out" insulating divider that allows linking the studs. This is especially useful in installations where cable extensions are needed, for example for outboard motors. All models come with protective covers, which effectively prevent accidental contact and protect the connections from dust and external stresses.
Models with power tap plates have four 4 mm terminals that support up to 50A per terminal, providing safe power distribution for smaller cable connections.
