The VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle enables you to view and monitor your BMV or MPPT information wirelessly on iOS and Android devices via the VictronConnect app. With this dongle, you get direct access to data such as battery status, solar panel energy production, and much more. It can be used with all Victron Energy products that have a VE.Direct port, for example, BMV-70x series battery monitors, Phoenix inverters with VE.Direct port, and BlueSolar MPPT Solar charge controllers.
The dongle provides immediate readings without pairing when connected to a BlueSolar MPPT, BMV-70x, or a Phoenix VE.Direct inverter, and then displays important product data directly in VictronConnect. It also includes visual warnings, alarms, and error messages that make it easy to quickly diagnose issues. This dongle connects to non-Bluetooth VE.Direct products and allows easy monitoring, configuration, and firmware updates via Bluetooth.
In addition to displaying important data about battery status and solar energy, the dongle can be used as part of VE.Smart Networking, a wireless communication network between Victron products. Note that it is not compatible with GX devices or GlobalLink devices, and it does not work with Windows PC. The dongle has two status LED lights for Bluetooth and error indication, and it comes with a clear PIN code button for easy pairing.
