Interface MK2.2b is an adapter that enables easy communication between Victron Energy devices with VE.Bus interface (such as MultiPlus and Quattro) and a computer or other equipment via an RS232 connection. This device is ideal for monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting Victron systems, and it provides a galvanically isolated serial connection to ensure safe and reliable data transfer.
It is especially useful in systems where USB connection is not available, and works by converting VE.Bus data to RS232 standard. To power the RS232 side of the MK2.2b, the DTR signal (pin 4 on the DB9 connector) must be set high. This may vary depending on the operating system and hardware.
