With the BlueSolar PWM-Pro to USB interface cable, you can easily connect your BlueSolar PWM-Pro charge controller to your computer for monitoring and configuration. By connecting the interface cable to the charge controller and a USB port on your computer, you get full access to control and adjust settings via software. This makes it possible to accurately monitor and control multiple charge controllers, but it is recommended to connect only one at a time during installation to ensure correct communication and configuration.
The cable supports several control options, including:
Manual control: You can turn the output on and off manually with the orange button on the charge controller, with low voltage disconnect active.
Light-controlled ON/OFF: Controls the output based on the solar array voltage, where the lighting turns on at dusk and off at dawn.
Light-controlled with timer: Set a predefined on and off time, so the lighting turns on after dusk and off before dawn, providing maximum control over the length of the night and the duration of the lighting.
By connecting the interface cable to the charge controller and the computer’s USB port, you can adjust a range of important battery settings to optimize the system. For example, you can change battery type (Gel, AGM, Flooded, or user-defined), battery capacity (1-9999 Ah), and temperature compensation coefficient (-3mV/°C per 2V cell). It is also possible to adjust voltages, such as overvoltage disconnect (9-17V), charge limit (9-17V), and low voltage disconnect (9-17V). Settings like equalization charge, boost/absorption charge, and charge time can also be adjusted to suit your needs.
