Isotemp Basic 75L 230V DS is a hot water heater with a larger diameter of 395 mm, making it ideal for installation in larger spaces and boats. It can be mounted both horizontally and vertically to adapt to different installation requirements.
DS stands for the heater being equipped with double water coils. By having two coils, an additional heat source can be connected, for example, a waterborne heater like the Eberspächer Hydronic. This allows the engine and heater to be separated, providing greater flexibility. It is also possible to connect an extra engine, creating a double installation for even more possibilities to utilize heat sources.
The design of the heater takes natural laws into account – hot water rises while cold water settles at the bottom. To ensure efficient heating, both the engine water coil (DS) and the electric cartridge heater are placed near the bottom, which makes all the water heat effectively. The hot water outlet and cold water inlet are strategically placed far apart to minimize turbulence and mixing between heated and unheated water.
The robust outer design is optimized for marine environments, with a stainless steel casing and protected connections to resist corrosion and wear. Only the best stainless materials are used, and all welds in contact with water are performed under shielding gas to guarantee the highest quality and durability. Additionally, each tank is individually tested at 16 bar pressure during production to ensure performance and safety.
