MRBF Terminal Fuse is a powerful and reliable 80A fuse designed to protect battery banks and electrical systems in marine, vehicle electrical, and industrial applications. It meets ABYC requirements and has a high breaking capacity, making it ideal for main protection of large DC systems.
The fuse requires the use of Terminal Fuse Blocks PN 5191 or PN 2151 and should not be mounted directly on the battery terminal. Its ignition-protected design makes it safe to use in gasoline-powered boats and other potentially explosive environments.
For easy troubleshooting, the fuse has a transparent inspection window, allowing quick determination if it has blown. It is also color-coded by amperage for quick identification during installation and maintenance.
It has a maximum voltage of 58V DC and a breaking capacity of up to 10,000A at 14V DC, ensuring reliable operation even at high fault currents.
