Lowrance HDI Transom Transducers combine the latest technology in sonar reading to provide sport fishermen and boat owners with a clear and detailed picture of what lies beneath the surface. With both DownScan Imaging™ and multifrequency technology (83/200/455/800 kHz), you get high-quality images of the bottom, fish, and underwater structures, giving you a clear advantage when searching for fish schools, wrecks, or other objects.
DownScan Imaging™ uses high-frequency 455 kHz and 800 kHz frequencies to create photo-like images of the water column and bottom structure. With a beam width of 6.4° at 455 kHz and 12° at 800 kHz, it provides you with a realistic image of fish, rocks, seaweed, and other structures beneath the boat. It has a range of up to 90 meters (300 feet) at 455 kHz, making it invaluable for easily identifying fish schools and structures for diving or underwater searches.
The transducer has a built-in sensor that measures both depth and temperature, meaning you only need a single connection to your sonar module or multifunction display, simplifying installation and reducing the number of cables.
Mounting options are flexible and adapted for different boat types. Transom mounting is especially suitable for smaller outboard and I/O boats with planing hulls and is easy to install. It can be adjusted to compensate for the transom angle. Trolling motor mounting is an option for those who want easy installation without drilling holes in the hull. This makes it perfect for installations on through-hull transducers, where performance is maintained without damaging the boat.
