Orion-Tr Smart 48/12-30A (360W) Isolated is an advanced DC-DC charger that receives 48V from the input and delivers 12V with an output power of 360W and a maximum current of 30A. It functions both as a battery charger and a constant current source, making it ideal for vehicles with smart generators (Euro 5 and Euro 6), boats, and motorhomes. With its wide input and output voltage range, it is designed to handle low charging voltages from smart generators, ensuring that the service battery is charged correctly and protecting the starter battery from unwanted discharge.
The isolated design means there is galvanic isolation between the input and output, eliminating direct electrical connection. This increases safety and protection, especially in marine applications, industrial systems, and vehicles with multiple grounding systems.
With built-in Bluetooth, the charger can be easily monitored and programmed via your smartphone or tablet using the VictronConnect app. The app provides instant access to important information, such as status and alarms, without needing to connect directly to the device.
The charger offers an adaptive three-stage charging algorithm – bulk, absorption, and float – which ensures optimal battery management.
