Orion-Tr Smart 24/48-8.5A (400W) is an isolated DC to DC charger that combines high performance with smart features for professional 24 V to 48 V battery systems. It is designed to charge the service battery from a starter battery or a (smart) generator in vehicles, motorhomes, or boats, and functions as an adaptive 3-stage charger that automatically adjusts to the battery's needs to provide optimal charging and lifespan.
With built-in Bluetooth, the charger can be monitored and configured directly via the VictronConnect app, making it easy to set charging profiles and follow status in real time. It supports both lead-acid and lithium batteries and can be used in 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V systems, making it very flexible for different installations. The unit can also be controlled via an external on/off input and has an engine detection function that senses when the vehicle is running and automatically starts charging.
Orion-Tr Smart 24/48-8.5A is built to withstand tough environments and high temperatures up to 55 °C, with full power up to 40 °C. For larger systems, multiple units can be connected in parallel to increase the total output power, with no limit on the number. This makes it ideal for demanding applications where reliable and efficient charging is crucial.
