The HD-Series Heavy Duty Selector Battery Switch is a high-performance battery switch designed to switch between separate battery banks or combine them to deliver power to all loads. It is perfect for boats, vehicles, and industrial applications where safe and flexible power management is crucial.
With its "make-before-break" contact technology, it enables smooth switching between battery banks without power interruption, protecting sensitive electrical systems. Tin-plated copper terminals ensure optimal conductivity and corrosion protection, even in marine and harsh environments.
The switch handles up to 500A continuous current, 700A intermittent (5 minutes), and a full 1600A starting current (30 seconds), making it ideal for high power load systems. It is ignition protected, making it safe for installation in gasoline-powered boats, and can be mounted both surface-mounted and on a panel for maximum flexibility.
It is designed to handle two battery banks, allowing the option to separate or combine batteries as needed. With a robust gray enclosure and a four-position selector, it offers easy handling and clear operation.
