The e-Series On-Off Battery Switch is a two-position switch that controls a single battery bank and connects it to a single load group. It is ignition protected, making it safe for use on gasoline-powered boats and in other applications requiring safe power switching.
The switch is equipped with an alternator field diode (AFD), which protects the alternator's diodes if the switch is turned off while the engine is running. This makes it safe to use in systems where engines are powered by a battery and where it is important to prevent damage to the alternator.
It has a continuous current capacity of 350A and can handle up to 600A for short-term use (5 minutes). Its starting current capacity is 1200A for 30 seconds, making it ideal for engine starting and other high loads. It is also built to withstand up to 48V DC, making it versatile in various systems.
The switch's design makes it easy to mount on a surface or back panel, and it has tin-plated copper studs for the best electrical conductivity and long durability.
