BEP Battery Switch Pro Installer On/Off 48V Max is a powerful main switch designed to handle a battery bank with outstanding performance and functionality. This switch represents the new generation of main switches and offers both installers and end users a simple and efficient installation with high reliability.
With three mounting options – surface mounting, back panel mounting, and front panel mounting – it provides flexibility and simplifies installation, regardless of space requirements. The optimized cable access and the three removable sides allow easy handling of cables up to 70mm², making the installation both quick and smooth. Additionally, the rear cover ensures that the terminals are insulated, preventing short circuits and meeting ABYC requirements.
The switch is tested according to strict marine standards (UL 1107) for continuous operation, intermittent use, and starting currents, with high resistance to temperature increase. It handles up to 400A continuous, 600A for five minutes, and 1500A for 10 seconds, making it perfect for demanding applications in marine environments.
The Pro Installer knob has a replaceable label system (item no. BEP-713 or 715), making it easy to customize for different applications. The switch is made of fiber-reinforced plastic and has tinned copper terminals and nuts, ensuring excellent conductivity and high corrosion resistance. It is also waterproof according to IP66, making it ideal for use in exposed environments.
