EFOY 150 BT 12/24V is a fuel cell from EFOY, designed to be the perfect power generator for your 12 V and 24 V battery. The integrated charge controller continuously monitors the charge level of your battery and charges it automatically when needed. As soon as the battery is fully charged, it shuts off and goes into standby mode, ensuring that you always have full energy reserves and protecting your battery from deep discharge.
To use 230 V consumers, such as coffee machines or hair dryers, an inverter is required (see Victron inverter). Unlike the previous Comfort model, the new EFOY 150 BT is compatible with both 12 V and 24 V batteries. It lacks a physical control panel but is instead monitored via the EFOY app on your smartphone or tablet. The OP3 control panel is available as an accessory for those who want a physical solution.
With the EFOY app, you can easily control your EFOY products and access all important information about the fuel cell, battery, and fuel cartridge. You can see how much the fuel cell is charging and how much fuel remains. Through the app, you can also make all settings, including battery type, charging thresholds, voltage, and much more.
EFOY fuel cells use DMFC technology (Direct Methanol Fuel Cell) to convert chemical energy into electrical energy with minimal efficiency loss. The methanol in the fuel cartridge combines with oxygen from the air to produce electricity. In addition to charging current, it generates waste heat and water vapor with low carbon dioxide emissions, making it both efficient and environmentally friendly.
