The 187-Series Circuit Breaker is a powerful and reliable automatic fuse that combines a switch and circuit protection in one unit. Perfect for marine and vehicle applications, it is designed to provide high safety and efficient power management.
With a "Trip Free" design, the breaker cannot be held on during a fault current, providing extra safety for your systems. It has a clear single-lever operation that makes it easy to check and reset the fuse. The breaker is waterproof and meets SAE J1171 standards for ignition protection, making it safe for use in gasoline-powered boats and other potentially explosive environments.
The breaker handles 30A continuous current and can interrupt up to 5000A at 14V DC, making it suitable for high currents and engine starts. It has 5/16" M8 terminal studs that accept heavy cable terminals, ensuring strong and durable connections. With 75 in-lb (8.47 Nm) terminal stud torque, you get secure connections for high-current applications.
The 187-Series Automatic Fuse 30A is made of heat-resistant thermoplastic material and withstands a temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, making it reliable under extreme temperature conditions. It is panel-mounted and has recessed mounting holes for a clean installation.
