187-Series Circuit Breaker - Panel Mount 200A is a robust and reliable circuit breaker that combines the functions of a switch and protection in a single unit. With a current rating of 200A and a maximum voltage of 48V DC, it effectively provides protection against overloads and fault currents, making it ideal for marine environments and other demanding applications. The thermally responsive Bi-metal blade breaker reacts quickly to protect electrical systems from damage. With its innovative "Trip Free" design, the breaker cannot be held "ON" during a fault current situation, ensuring high safety and reliability. The breaker is also designed to withstand extreme temperatures, from -40°C to 85°C, and is made of thermoset polyester for durability and long service life.
The breaker is easy to install thanks to its panel mounting with countersunk mounting holes that provide a neat and clean installation. The large lever can be mounted both vertically and horizontally and provides a clear indication of the breaker status for easy monitoring. The robust 5/16 inch (M8) terminals support heavy cable lugs and allow secure connections with a torque of 75 in-lb (8.47 Nm).
