BEP Horizontal Battery Distribution Cluster for Single Engine is an advanced and user-friendly battery management solution that replaces traditional battery selector switches and offers fully automatic charging management for boats with one engine and two battery banks.
This smart solution eliminates the risk of discharged starting batteries by automatically controlling the charging distribution between the battery banks without requiring extra cables or manual handling. By replacing a traditional battery selector system with a BEP 716 cluster, existing cables connect directly to the unit, making installation simple and smooth.
It is designed for use in systems with:
An outboard motor and two battery banks
An inboard motor with a generator and two battery banks
With the built-in Digital Voltage Sensing Relay, it is ensured that both battery banks are charged automatically and efficiently. The starting battery is prioritized during charging, and when its voltage reaches the correct level, the service battery is connected and charged via DVSR. When the engine is turned off and the voltage drops, the battery banks are isolated, protecting the starting battery from being drained by the service loads.
