BEP Battery Switch On/Off 48V Max. 275A Continuous is a high-performance battery switch designed for safe and efficient power connections in marine and industrial applications. With a maximum continuous current capacity of 275A, an intermittent capacity of 455A (5 min), and a peak power of 1250A (10 sec), this switch is ideal for handling high electrical loads in 48V systems.
It is equipped with BEP's patented Contour Locking System, allowing the switch to be used as a standalone unit or locked together with other switches for a more integrated solution. The removable knob, which can be taken off with a 45° counterclockwise rotation, provides additional security and prevents unauthorized use.
For maximum flexibility in cable routing, the switch has three removable side plates, allowing connection of up to 1/0 cables, as well as an insulated rear protective cover that prevents short circuits on the rear terminals. This ensures the unit meets ABYC standards for safe electrical installation.
The robust construction includes tinned copper studs and nuts for optimal conductivity and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for use in demanding marine environments. It can be mounted either flush or surface-mounted and requires a 52 mm mounting opening.
