BEP Battery Selector Switch 1-2-Both-Off 48V Max is a powerful and flexible battery switch, designed to provide safe and efficient power management in marine, vehicle, and industrial systems. With its four selectable positions – Battery 1, Battery 2, Both batteries, or Off – it offers full control over power supply and allows choosing the most optimal power source for each situation.
The robust heavy-duty construction makes this switch ideal for high-load electrical systems. It is built in the same modular format as BEP's 720 series, which means it has removable side plates for easy cable routing and a rear protective cover that shields the terminals from short circuits. This not only contributes to smoother installation but also ensures the switch meets ABYC standards for electrical safety.
Since this is a selector switch, it should be noted that it does not isolate sensitive electronics from harmful voltage spikes that can occur during engine start. To protect sensitive devices, it is recommended to complement the system with a Voltage Sensitive Relay (VSR) or another type of battery management solution.
With a maximum operating voltage of 48V, this battery switch is compatible with 12V, 24V, and 48V systems, making it a versatile choice for many types of installations.
