BEP Battery Selector Switch 1-2-Both-Off 48V Max. is an affordable and compact solution for managing two battery banks in both marine and vehicle applications. With a capacity of 200A continuous current, this switch allows you to easily switch between battery bank 1, battery bank 2, or use both simultaneously, as well as completely turn off the power.
This switch is the most compact in the BEP range, but offers the same high-quality features as their larger models. With the patented Contour Locking System, it can be used as a standalone unit or locked together with other switches in the Contour series to create an integrated power solution. For extra security, the knob can be easily removed by turning it 45 degrees counterclockwise, protecting against unauthorized use.
This switch also has a replaceable label system (part number BEP-713 or 715), allowing it to be customized for different applications. Three removable sides provide easy access to cables up to 55 mm², and a rear cover isolates the terminals to protect against short circuits and meet ABYC requirements.
The BEP Battery Selector Switch is tested according to strict marine test procedures (UL 1107) to handle continuous (1 hour), intermittent (5 minutes), and starting current (engine start - 10 seconds), with test results showing that the terminals do not exceed 100 degrees Celsius during operation. The continuous and intermittent ratings are tested to 110 percent of the specified ratings. It has also been tested and certified by an independent laboratory, ensuring high performance and reliability.
The switch's tinned copper terminals and nuts provide optimal conductivity and corrosion protection, making it ideal for marine environments. It is also spark-proof and can be mounted either surface-mounted or recessed by cutting a 2.1" (52 mm) hole.
