BEP Battery Distribution Cluster is a horizontal unit specially designed for use with a single outboard motor and a dual battery bank, providing reliable and safe power distribution in marine applications. The unit uses the patented Contour Locking System, allowing it to be locked together with other switches for a cohesive system. For extra safety and protection, the knobs can easily be removed by turning them 45 degrees counterclockwise.
The knobs are equipped with a replaceable labeling system (BEP-713 or 715), allowing them to be customized for different applications, and the flexible design means each switch has three removable sides that provide easy access for cables up to 55 mm². Additionally, a rear cover protects the rear terminals against short circuits, ensuring the product meets ABYC requirements for safety and reliability.
BEP Battery Distribution Cluster has undergone strict marine testing procedures (UL 1107), including tests for continuous, intermittent, and starting current, to ensure the switch can handle high current demands for specified times without overheating. The test results have been confirmed by an independent laboratory to ensure the highest performance.
The switches have tinned copper terminals and nuts, providing maximum conductivity and resistance to corrosion in marine environments. They are also spark-proof to ensure safe operation in tough conditions. The unit can be mounted either surface-mounted or recessed by cutting three 52 mm holes, providing flexibility during installation.
